After playing with Canon Powershot A75, SD600 and SD1000, I realized that I needed a camera that would grant me more control, so I acquired my first DSLR, Canon 400D (Rebel Xti), in December 2007. It was a great investment. I enjoy playing with it and getting familiar with the amazing things dslr can do. So far I have three lenses in my bag: 50mm f/1.8 (my favorite lens), 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 (this came with my camera), 28-105mm f/3.5-4.5 (my walking lens). They are all pretty inexpensive lenses but quite sufficient for my use at this moment. That being said, I do have a lens wish list: a wide angle, a macro, and a telephoto. 
I really should start earning real money!
